FAQ

How does my pet join the PHL PETS family?
Contact us and we will set-up your free meet-and-greet. That’s all it takes!

What services does PHL PETS provide?
We provide professional, experienced and fun dog walking and pet sitting services. We offer boarding and in-house sitting as well. We work regular and non-standard hours. We work with animals of all ages and breeds, including special needs cases.

What are PHL PETS hours of operation?
Our hours depend on our clients needs. We are available 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We do our best to accommodate last-minute walks. Holidays are $5 extra and you can book your holiday sits up to 3 months in advance.

What is PHL PETS cancellation policy?
We request at least a 12 hour notice but 24 hours is preferred. However, we realize that unforeseen situations occur. Our cancellation fee is $5. In the event PHL PETS shows up at your appointment and no visit is needed, we will charge in full. For overnights, 7 days notice is preferred.

What’s PHL PETS inclement weather policy?
In the event of such weather, no matter what it takes, we will visit your pet! During extreme heat, nasty rain or snow we may shorten the walk if it is appropriate, we will spend the remainder of the scheduled time playing indoors.

Does PHL PETS administer medication to pets?
Yes. We are experienced with many situations including administering medicine such as insulin injections, feeding animals who cannot feed themselves, pill and liquid medications, epilepsy, wound care , end of life care and more. We work around any special need and so not charge extra for administering medication.

PHL PETS is “Bonded & Insured”. What does that really mean?
PHL PETS is trained to expect the unexpected and is prepared to avoid any situation where an incident can occur. Being bonded & insured means that if there is accidental damage while visiting your pet, then that damage is covered under our policy. It also covers injuries, which we don’t want to think about, but must.
